Let's Make It!

This is a layering craft, so we are going to first begin with the twinkle lights. Make sure to put batteries in the twinkle lights. Next cut Christmas Buffalo snow to fit over the twinkle lights, then add some of the sparkling faux snow (one of my favorite elements! 🎅 )

Place Miniature Trees, truck, houses etc... on top of the snow and presto you have created a darling DIY Christmas Terrarium.

For added Christmas cheer and goodwill I created a Christmas Vignette on our sofa table.

Using the Christmas Terrarium as the focal point I added an Aluminum Christmas Trees, Christmas ornament, Vintage Christmas Sign and a metal countdown to Christmas Truck.

  8. I grew up making Christmas terrariums in a brandy snifter (or my mom did -- I watched and when I was older we did summer ones with moss from the lake.) This takes me back to my childhood and it's lovely!

  9. Good morning Jemma! The season has arrived. The bins in the closet have come out, organized and refreshed as well as new ideas for vignettes. A toy truck is always a part of my décor and I love the idea of a terrarium. I have a few things under cloches and that just adds so much sparkle to the evening as well as keeping the dust off delicate glitter! Have a super day my friend.

  10. Jemma, such an adorable display! It's especially nice to be able to create something so quickly and easily that is also flexible to change up from year to year. P.S. My mother is halfway done making 2 magnolia wreaths using your tutorial from last month's hop. She's giving them as gifts for Thanksgiving. The leaves came from my sister's Charleston yard.
