May Day Country Cottage Wreath DIY

May 01, 2020
Good Morning and thank you for joining me today as I celebrate May Day!
Truly what a beautiful day it is here in the mountains of Colorado, the sun is slipping through the pines and we didn't get below freezing last night.
After having had an extremely cold and snowy Winter we are welcoming spring with open arms.
The last snow drift has melted, tulips are budding and I saw the first bumble bee and hummingbird of the season.
Naturally with all of this Spring bursting around me I was compelled to create a May Day Country Cottage Wreath.

  3. I love this wreath when I saw it on Instagram. it's filled with my favorite colors. Also neat that you mentioned May day... As I kid, it was customary for me to make colored paper cones and fill with fresh flowers from our yard to hang on the neighbors door. The knock and run was my specialty but sometimes I would hide so I could watch get a glimpse at their reaction. Something precious about a smile when someone receives fresh flowers. Hope your day was nice.

  6. Oooo, that is so pretty. I love the pink flowers, and pink and black is always a good combination. The black and white ribbon adds a special touch. The "country cottage wreath" is a perfect name for it, as it looks a little of both. Such a charming wreath, Jemma. Your creative projects make me smile. : )
