Simple Fall Decor In Our Dining Room

October 04, 2018
Fall is my favorite season. I love vibrant red and gold colored leaves, crisp morning air and even a light frost. The change of season is like a breath of fresh air; renewing, enlightening and invigorating. In celebration of my favorite season I have gathered together a few festive Fall supplies along with a couple of velvet pumpkins, a few jars, and some flowers to create this simple Fall decor in our Dining Room.

Trio of handpainted and decoupage pint jars

This pumpkin inspired centerpiece is simple and mess free.

No carving or seeds, just a few pint size jars jazzed up.

Happy Harvest and pumpkins on the antique hutch

On my antique hutch I added some pumpkins to an ironstone platter.

You know, I never truly realized how much I enjoy color until I began my blog. I thought I was a neutral sort of person and I guess I am for the backdrop. But I sure do enjoy adding warm hues and vibrant tones.

And flowers, always flowers, faux, real or paper, purchased, handmade or homegrown.

Always add flowers to a vignette

I certainly hope that I will always decorate for the seasons no matter how old I am, even if it becomes just one lone pumpkin on my kitchen counter!

How is your Fall decorating going??

Happy Harvest from me to you! xo
