Inspirational Thursday-The Cookie

October 24, 2013
Have you ever had someone give you something just because they

were being nice?

Last week this lovely gesture known as being "nice," happened to

me.

It was just an ordinary day at the hair salon and I was simply getting

an ordinary trim.

When one of my hair stylists clients came in with two festive

Halloween cookies for her.

I admired her client's cookies, the client smiled politely at me and

said "thank you," as she went on her way.

Cut turned into style out and nearly an hour had passed by.  Just as

I was preparing to leave the client with the cookies came through the

door smiling.  In her hand she held a beautiful pumpkin sugar

cookie and she gave it to me!

Wondering how nice presented itself in your week?

The nicest gesture that happened to me recently is that I bought boots for this coming winter. Then, my husband gave surprised me by giving me money to cover their cost! Boy, was I happy! Take care, dear Jemma. Susan

  7. Wasn't that sweet? And you did it in such justice! I love the decorations you put with it. Hey I was looking at your Pinterest photo and it is not the same photo that you have here. You have shorter hair. So what new style did you get now? Bet it is pretty! sandie

  11. I love it when others do nice, that's a great looking cookie! Yesterday a lady banged into our vehicle in the parking lot, another driver mentioned to us. AND! She came over and apologized for doing it...now if that isn't nice, what is?
