Gardening Tales
Season Of Bouquets On Sunnydell Flower Farm
September 04, 2024
It has been quite sometime since you all received a note from me.
I hope this finds you well.
We have all been busy, haven't we?
So I think I'll tip-toe back into your inbox by gently focusing on flowers combined with inspirational musings on life in the garden.
Today I begin with a few bouquets of our season of flowers on Sunnydell as well as the flowers I have chosen to use in these bouquets.
Vibrant Blooms For You
Life on the farm raising flowers is educational and inspirational for me.
I enjoy sharing the new things I learn and the beauty with my online community.
Sort of feeling that sharing a few educational reels on Instagram and Facebook is worthwhile, but reels come and go- while the written word endures.
Seems it might be neat to bring these flowers to you right here on athomewithjemma.
What is in this Bouquet
- Assorted colors and varities of zinnias
- Assorted Sunflowers
- Mikayla Dahlia
All of the happenings on Sunnydell begin in the Winter
All of the happenings on the farm begin while Winter makes herself known through swirls of snow outside our home.
It is in these darker hours of the season where life begins in blooms- in the Flower House or Greenhouse tiny seeds are planted.
Unless otherwise specified my flowers are carefully grown by me and mother nature!
Sutble Beauty

Mixed Bouquet of Soft and Vibrant
In this bouquet you'll notice a subtle mix of Queen Anne's Lace (chocolate flower) Benary's Giant zinnia mix, Giant Dahlia Flowered Mix Zinnia and Cosmos.
I added some alstromeria that was left over from another bouquet.( I did purchase the alstromeria.)
Variety is the Spice of Life
I have had the opportunity to make a few Bridal Bouquets this season, which I have loved!
Working with Brides to create their special bouquet for their special day really delights me.
Flowers in the Bouquet
In this particular bouquet I was "expermenting," with colors, textures and several varieites of blooms.
Not all flowers made the cut!

This is a close up of the Mikayla Dahlia-isn't she lovely...
Have a wonderful day!
Jemma
