Glitter and Glitz Valentine Wreath

You remember my Valentine Vignette? Well, I had quite a few materials left over-soooo, here is my third  post on Valentine Wreaths.   This wreath is pure fun, nothing  serious  just glitter and glitz. Supplies needed to make this wreath. Hot pink wire edged ribbon,  light pink tulle, polka dot chiffon ribbon, straw wreath form, silk  tulip buds, glittery letters. pearls and bling, florist wire, wire  cutters, hot glue gun and glue sticks.  Step 1:  Wrap straw wreath with wire ribbon.  I use wire because it  is sturdier and I like the stripe effect. Step 2: After straw is completely and uniformly covered with  ribbon s ecure with florist wire. Step 3: Layering all the wonderful goodies and securing with  florist  wire.  Layering makes an ordinary wreath extraordinary!  There can never ever be too much ribbon or bling! Step 4:  Cut tulle into seven strips each six inches long and secure  with florist wire or sequin wire.  Once again attaching with florist  wire to the wreath Step 5: I wan

Inspirational Thursday-A Picture

" A picture is worth a thousand words." There are times when a picture can convey a message more powerfully than the written or spoken word.  Sharing with you  some pictures that "Speak." to me.  They offer me inspiration and I hope that they will do the same for you!                As always wishing each one of you love, health and happiness! ~Jemma~

Be My Valentine-Vignette

Welcome Monday-a few Valentine Images for You! I found these precious multi-colored tulips, at my favorite craft store.  I tucked them in a mercury glass vase and set the vase into an antique Belgian crystal bowl.  Glass reflects light beautifully and enhances every vignette.  Pearls, and soft pink silk flowers which appear to have dew drops on them add a touch of whimsical.  Placed upon a desk or china hutch they can provide just the right touch of Valentine Cheer. I saved a few single tulip stems to place on my entry table with more pearls and ribbon.  Hope you have much love in your life this coming week! Gold and Glam Valentine Wreath

So cupid continues to fill our home with the love bug! I am simply thrilled with this heart shaped wire wreath form and  the gold deco mesh!  The mesh was even on sale! This is a simple little tutorial- Step 1- Using a heart shaped wire form I weave the gold deco-mesh in and out of the  form, it is very similar to making bows. Step 2- Every second to third weaving I secure the mesh to the wire form with florist wire, gathering and tucking as I move along.  I was  careful not to overfill the form as I did not want to lose the shape of the heart. Step 3- When I was satisfied with the shape of the wreath, I added the bling.  I love hot pink, glitter, sequins, rhinestones and of course this gorgeous hot pink ribbon. All of the embellishments are secured with hot glue and the hot pink ribbon is woven throughout and secured with tiny dollops of hot glue. I just love the way these two colors go together. Firing up the  hot glue gun and adding the embellishmentswhich I had chosen. Assorted si
