We all thank you for joining us today and hope that you will view this opportunity to be comparable to shopping in your favorite boutique where thoughtful attention has been given to each acquisition and designed with the utmost care.
We are excited to introduce to you our first week of curated commerce where you will find unique product lines, and distinct collections not offered by other retailers in the market.
Each one of these shops have been founded with passion and based on personal taste.
We hope that you will find these one of kind treasures as delightful as we do.
As we all embark upon this Christmas venture I asked each shop owner to share a bit about themselves. I know that whenever I go junking or shop in quaint downtown stores, I always end up chatting with the owners.
Seems to me this is one of the things that makes the experience that much more special!
Today we welcome shop owners Linda and Ann Marie, each of these ladies have shops and blogs.
Linda shares her thoughts on life, recipes and sewing at My Sew What Blog, and today she tells us a little bit about her shop Eastern Ave Designs.
I am so pleased to be featured on Jemma's blog! My Etsy shop is really a result of my love for all things handmade! I've been making and giving handmade gifts for a very long time and wanted to provide a shopping opportunity to others who share my fondness for unique, handmade gift items. I also have a love (possibly an obsession) for vintage designs, fabric and lace. So with the encouragement of family and friends I began Eastern Ave Designs. Stitching angel ornaments from paper and fabric, totes and bags, seasonal and other gift items. I offer designs that are vintage inspired as well as some trendy designs to appeal to a wider range of taste and preference in style and design.
I will be adding many items for the holidays over the next several weeks so please feel free to stop by. Each and every item is handcrafted with love and I sincerely hope they are as joyfully received as they were created!
As a special thank you to Jemma's readers I am offering a discount of 10 % off of a $25.00 dollar purchase or more on all orders placed between now and December 5th, please used code JEM10.
Our next shop owner is Anne Marie who opened her vintage collectible shop NanNas Things five years ago. She also shares her passion for vintage finds, recipes and sweet grandchildren at her blog Musings of a Vintage Junkie.
I am so happy to featured today on Jemma's beautiful blog! I am a vintage junkie and I have a passion for picking. You could say that I am a picker, junker, antique hunter. I always have my eye out for the unusual, rare, and unique vintage items for my Etsy shop. I love all the styles, from Victorian and Art Deco to Mid Century, Retro and Kitschy. I offer items in these styles in my shop year around and they make unique gifts. Picking at this time of year is alot of fun, finding decorative vintage Christmas items to add the vintage look to your home as well as to give as gifts.
I have a variety of all the styles in my Vintage Holiday section, and as a Holiday season special, I am offering 15 % off all the items in my shop. At checkout use coupon code JEMMASFEATURE. The sale runs until November 18th. Please visit throughout the shopping season as I will be adding new treasures to my shop.
Hi Jemma, Lovely way to kick off the season featuring two of my etsy friends and favorite shops today. Both shops are amazing and their features here are outstanding today. Looking forward to visiting both shops. Thank you for sharing this series of shopping this month. I am looking forward to each Friday. Blessings, xo
Those angel ornaments are so cute. This is a fun and wonderful idea, Jemma. You're so kind to show some of your blog friend's shops and all the goodies they make. Sometimes homemade ornaments are the best.
Jemma, What a great idea to share information about handmade items on Etsy. Researching on the internet is time consuming, and you are so nice to share with others what you have found .
