Easter Vignette & Mercury Eggs

March 04, 2016
Yesterday I put together a little mini Easter Vignette on my Kitchen table, then posted it on

Facebook.

Many of you fell in love with the Mercury Eggs, so I thought I would share them here on my

blog today.

I picked up these glorious Mercury Eggs while shopping at Pier 1 this year, if you are

interested in getting some.

In between gardening and rummaging through my Spring craft boxes I found this rustic

basket.

It spoke to me and said I need a makeover, and I knew I had just what it needed to become

an Easter basket.

As you can see it was all very simple.

I tucked in a little grass, added some pink faux rosebuds, shimmery ribbon around the

handle and added some decoupaged Easter eggs that are also from Pier 1.

I did a very simple Spring in my dining, last year, it was just before we moved and many

things were packed away.

Another simple project that will add some Easter joy to your home is this Easter Terrarium, which I enjoyed putting together and shared a couple of years ago.

So many cheerful projects for this time of the year.

Do you have a project that you are working on?

Wishing you all a safe and happy Friday and wonderful weekend!
xoxo

  9. Jemma,
Shimmery mercury glass eggs would make finding Easter eggs easier. Yours add just the right sparkle to your Easter dining room table. I, too, have been creating little snippets of Easter and Spring here and there around the house.

  11. I love Mercury glass. You know Jemma I used to think it was more of a wintery accent and put my Mercury glass away in Spring but lately I am enjoying it 365. I love your Pier 1 eggs and I think you did a gorgeous arrangement with the basket. Your home looks pretty and very Spring like.

  20. Your basket is soooooo cute! I have t get over to Pier 1, they have the best spring/Easter items. I have to allow myself at least one new bunny to my collection, too. I'm making another Easter basket for Elsie this year. I'm going to find a basket that my daughter in law can then repurpose. I think I better get started! :)
