Thoughts Of Home On Thursday

I woke up thinking of what thoughts of home meant to me today.

Different days, I think of different things.

Some days thoughts of home mean gardening, canning, planting.

Other days I think of baking, slicing, chopping, cooking.

The list goes on for  me, as I am sure it does for you all too.

Thoughts of home change throughout the days and even sometimes minutes.

But today I looked at these collections that my Paternal and Maternal Grandmother's had

collected, along with my Mother and myself, and they "felt," like home.

I love my family, I love my home, I love my life.

Perfect, unflawed no-and that is what makes me love it all the more.

This is my youngest daughter's kitchen table.

Her Thoughts of Home look like this-a perfect collection of blue and white.

Treats carefully set out and waiting for Molly and me.

Our middle daughter with her midcentury home and master retreat, soothing, calming.

Thoughts of home for her look like this.

Thoughts of Home on Thursday.

A collection of our lives, the joys, the laughter, the love; the real deals, the snippets the

marvel and wonder of life, that make thoughts of home a lasting impression.

Please join us this coming Thursday the 11th and share your thoughts of home.

Jemma's home is a quiet spot nestled among the trees. You might find me writing, reading, or puttering in my Greenhouse, tweaking a recipe, crafting a wreath or loving on my grands. Always living with a grateful heart.

  7. As they say, there's no place like home. The photos of your home, your daughter's homes, and your family are beautiful.

  9. Jemma, I can see why your thoughts of home are so special to you. What a collection of pictures - they must bring a smile to your face when you look at them. Home is very special to me too. It's a place where we can rest our hearts for awhile. I love that close-up pic of your daughter. She's a beauty and looks humble at the same time. :)

  10. How lovely Jemma. I love your photos. Isn't it fun to watch our children develop their special styles? Both of my girls are drawn to mid century. I have always tried to make our home a retreat, a safe and cozy place.
